Syrup Blender Role Overview Manufactures syrup that is used in the bottling process from concentrate. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Blends syrup. Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup. Builds recipes to specifications. Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup. Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory. Conducts associated lab duties. Follows all company rules and regulations. Performs housekeeping duties. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year production or technical experience preferred. Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred. Basic math and computer skills, good written and oral communication skills, and good organizational skills required. An analytical thought process and good hand/eye coordination required. Must be able to follow established procedures without deviation. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
