Extrusion Operator Accentuate Staffing Youngsville, NC 27596 Overview Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the Youngsville area who is hiring an Extrusion Operator to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, 8am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Operator will set up and run extrusion and glue machinery, performing quality checks, and routine maintenance. Operator will monitor equipment during production to ensure consistent product quality, accurately measure dimensions using tools like calipers, and report production data. Operator will maintain inventory accuracy by tracking material usage, minimizing waste, and assisting with physical inventories and changeovers. Operator will uphold safety and cleanliness standards, participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and safely move materials using forklifts and manual methods. Requirements Operator must have 2-5 years of experience in extrusion, glue operations, or batch mixing in a manufacturing environment. Operator must have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable operating industrial machinery and performing minor maintenance. Operator must have the ability to read a metric tape measure and use precision tools such as calipers. Operator must have the physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving climbing, kneeling, or lifting. Operator must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and open to learning and process improvement, with the potential to grow into leadership roles.
