Assist warper tender by pulling yarn through tension bars and comb.• Remove tubes from creel Blow off warpers. Line up racks. Assist warper tender when all warpers are stopped off. Relieve warper tender on breaks. Must properly wear Personal Protective Equipment as required for the task being performed. Follow all departmental and plant Safety Rules and work rules requirements. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability to changing work environment and business needs. The Creeler plays a vital role in the production process, ensuring that materials are prepared and ready for manufacturing operations. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing yarn or thread supplies, operating machinery, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. Duties Set up and operate creeling equipment to prepare materials for production. Monitor the quality of yarn or thread during the creeling process, ensuring adherence to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling within the warehouse environment. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Assist in sewing operations as needed, utilizing sewing machines effectively. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve workflow and reduce waste. Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks within a warehouse setting. Experience with quality inspection processes to maintain high production standards. Basic sewing skills, including familiarity with sewing machines, are preferred. Knowledge of machining and fabrication processes is advantageous.
