Industrial Sewer Operator Accentuate Staffing Oxford, NC 27565 Job Overview Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the Oxford area who is hiring a Sewer Operator to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, 7am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Operator will set up, operate, and maintain industrial sewing machines and related equipment to produce quality textile products. Operator will prepare materials by measuring and cutting to specification, and perform stitching, bonding, and assembly work as required. Operator will inspect finished products for quality, follow production schedules, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Operator will work collaboratively with team members and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Requirements Operator must have previous experience operating sewing machines in a production or textile environment. Operator must have the ability to read and follow production instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Operator must have strong attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and work both independently and as part of a team. Operator must have the ability to read a metric tape measure accurately and apply measurements to cutting and sewing tasks.
