Machine Operator Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Temp to Hire LSI Staffing is seeking a Shredding Maching operator to work for our client in High Point, North Carolina. This is a temp to hire position working from 7am -4pm, Monday through Friday with a possibilty of Overtime. $16.00 per hour. The Shredder Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial shredding equipment used in the recycling process. This role ensures that materials such as paper, plastics, metals, or electronics are properly shredded for further processing or disposal. The operator must follow safety protocols, monitor equipment performance, and assist with routine maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operation. •

Key Responsibilities:

•+ Operate shredding machinery in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards. + Load recyclable materials into the shredder using forklifts, conveyors, or manually. + Monitor shredding equipment to detect malfunctions or irregularities. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the shredding machines. + Sort and separate materials before and after shredding as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Record production data and report equipment issues to supervisors. + Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
