Position Summary Candidate must independently set up and operate equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment. This is a 1st shift assignment, and the ideal candidate must be able to work overtime upon request, including on the weekends. The candidate will be a Machine/Setup Operator in a specialty metals and fabricating environment. The Operator will use a Calendering Mill and will conduct product conformance testing per established procedures. Responsibilities Read and interpret design drawings, specifications and routing instructions Prepare and maintain all quality documentation including initial, in-process and final inspection within 3 months of employment. Obtain inspection stamp within 6 months of employment Maintain equipment by performing minor maintenance and cleaning Other assignments as requested by the supervisor or area group leader Actively participate in the safety program and High-Performance Team programs. Promote and contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce process wastes Qualifications A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
