HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAY

• THURSDAY, 5PM
• 5AM after training on first shift.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Inspect machine equipment including extruder, screen changer, pelletizer and chilling system.
• Double checking the quality/type of material and regrind gaylords/pallets, before processing.
• Be able to make on the fly adjustments to settings if product doesn’t meet specifications.
• Test finished materials for continuity for set specifications.
• Be willing to learn the different machines and fill in for vacancies and vacation as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment around machinery.
• Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
• Operate tools and equipment to aid in manufacturing process.
• Work well with others to hit daily production goals.
• Maintain and update daily inventory and production logs.
• Instructions for end of shift:
• Sweep/clean up area.
• Empty trash if space available.
• Take off all labels on gaylords that are not ours and wrap boxes.
• Bale any film/liners or excess plastic wrap using vertical baler.

Required Skills/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have at least one (1) year running an extruder machine in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to be trained on and comprehend mechanics of machine operation. Must be mechanically inclined
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction and multiplication
• Able to lift up to 70lbs
• Willing to become forklift certified via company training
• Machine maintenance experience a plus
