Job Description:

Schedule and Hours:

2-2-3 Schedule Day shift and night shiftavailable 12 hour shifts $16-$18 Review production order todetermine machine settings, adjustments and material requirements.

Prepares resin mix by accurately measuring resins according toproduct recipe, fills mixer, operates mixer, records mixinformation on log, and transfers mix to cart and production lineConnects dosing system. Change hopper vacuum filter and resetshopper when issues arise. Assist with threading line Recordsmachine readings on the Process Center Line log sheet and notifiesKey Operator or supervisor of any issues. Observes machineoperation and watches material to detect any defects or machinemalfunction. Records material defects with details of location andtype of defect. Places appropriate cores on mandrel with doublesided tape separating them to the proper width. Prints labels andprepares rolls to be unloaded with correct roll and core labels;scrapping any rolls with defects and placing in designated wastearea. Prepares material to be tested online or in the lab accordingto the specified Line Sampling Plan. Removes rolls from mandrelplacing them on a cart, checking and adjusting any core alignmentissues that can be corrected. Performs machine cleaning, filterchanges, and general cleaning. Transport rolls on carts to thedesignated packing area. Prepares materials for packaging includingcardboard caps, plastic, and pallets. Stack rolls to be packagedlining up cores and labels ensuring the roll is in the properdirection specified by the production order. Records all rollnumbers on the bundle log, checks, and verifies all specificationsare met. Places cardboard caps, side panels, plastic, directionallabels on bundles and then operate wrapping machine to stretch wrapbundle. Weigh packaged bundles, print and place packaging label onthe bundle. Transport packaged bundles to the designated stagingarea by operating powered industrial truck. Perform online materialtesting and record results. Perform miscellaneous duties andprojects as assigned and required.

Math Ability:

Ability to add,subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate,ratio, and percent interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills:

Toperform this job successfully, an individual should have basiccomputer skills with ability to use Manufacturing software.
