Job Description
OVERVIEW
Express is seeking Machine Operators for a local company in Sanford, NC area. Machine Operators will perform tasks on a variety of machinery such as Brake Press, Turret, Hairpin, Fin Press, Expanders and more. Best suited candidates will have experience in basic set up and operation of metal fabricating.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cutting, Bending and forming metal plates, sheets and structural shapes according to blueprint specifications. Detecting and reporting any defective materials or questionable products to supervisors. Entering data into the ERP systems
REQUIREMENTS
Lifting capabilities of up to 50lbs throughout the duration of the shift Must be able to read and interpret blue prints 1+ year of experience operating metal fabricating machinery Must meet background and drug screening requirements Minimum 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field. Experience operating fabrication machinery (e.g., press brakes, shears, cutting tools, benders). Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Experience with CNC machine operation is a plus.
