Press Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Press Operator responsible for operating a press machine to stamp metals customized to customer orders. This role involves sitting down and ensuring materials are loaded properly before pressing the button to stamp the metals. The work is repetitive, and candidates must be comfortable with monotonous tasks. Both heavy and light lifters are welcome. Responsibilities Operate press machines to stamp metals according to customer specifications. Ensure materials are correctly loaded onto the machine. Monitor the machine operation to maintain quality and safety standards. Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail. Read and interpret part orders and blueprints. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation, particularly metal stamping machines. General production skills. Ability to read blueprints and part orders. Mechanical inclination. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude is a plus. Entry-level candidates are welcome. Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous. The manufacturing center operates on two shifts: 1st Shift from 6am-4:30pm (or 7am-3:30pm) and 2nd Shift from 2pm-10:30pm (or 12pm-10:30pm for overtime). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pineville, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00/hr.
