The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabricating and machining materials. As a Cutter, you will play a crucial role in the garment construction process by accurately cutting fabric according to specifications and ensuring high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities Be confident and comfortable with following pattern templates and staying organized. Read and interpret patterns, drafts, and specifications to determine cutting requirements. Ensure precision in cutting by measuring and marking fabric accurately. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance. Collaborate with the sewing team to ensure timely delivery of cut pieces for assembly. Have access to your own fabric scissors and other equipment needed. Conduct quality checks on cut pieces to ensure they meet design specifications. Experience Proven experience in garment construction, with a strong understanding of sewing techniques. Familiarity with drafting patterns and using sewing machines is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
