Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a hands-on position requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor blow molding machines according to production schedules and quality standards. Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation. Conduct quality checks on finished products, identifying and addressing any defects. Load raw materials (plastic resins) into machine hoppers. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel regarding machine status, production issues, and quality concerns. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations. Record production data accurately and completely.
Qualifications:
Proven mechanical aptitude and a strong background in machine operation are essential. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, especially with blow molding, plastics, or similar industrial machinery, is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret production orders and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. High School Diploma or GED required.
Schedule & Work Environment:
This position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule , meaning you will work 2 days, have 2 days off, and then work 3 days (which includes some weekends). This schedule provides a consistent rotation of work and rest days. We have both Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) and Night Shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) openings available. As a blow-mold plastics manufacturing facility, the work environment can be hot, especially during the summer months. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.
