Plater/Plating Manager X-Coatings Mount Ulla, NC 28125 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plater to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the plating process, ensuring that components are properly prepared and coated according to specifications. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work effectively in a factory environment. Responsibilities Operate plating equipment and machinery to apply coatings to metal parts. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or polishing components before plating. Assemble and fabricate parts as needed for production processes. Work on the assembly line to ensure timely completion of projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct quality checks on plated items to ensure adherence to specifications. Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge is required for troubleshooting equipment issues. Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to assemble and fabricate components as part of the production process. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment.
