Medical Device Cleanroom Technician Reports To:
Director of Operations –
Production Manager Summary:
Handles, organizes, assembles, and documents medical device components used on endoscopes. Must have a strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to use fine motor skills to assemble components. Will work within a small production team inside an ISO 8 clean room environment to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Identify correct components, and maintain high levels of accuracy and organization
- Assembly by hand of precision mechanical, medical components under clean room conditions and in compliance with the necessary manufacturing specifications
- Use correct adhesives / primers to assemble components. Record correct LOT numbers (critical to assembly).
- Sterilize workstation and disinfect according to work instructions. This is done at the start of shift, during shift, weekly and monthly to prevent contamination.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize clean room on regular schedule according to work instructions.
- Maintain verification documents to ensure the highest quality of Ovesco products
- Print work orders and assemble required components daily to achieve production plan.
- Monitor inventory levels on components and consumables to ensure there are no production interruptions.
- General plant duties as assigned by the production manager or management.
- Comply with company quality objectives. Ensure quality and accuracy of products.
- Continuous improvement of own work area and optimization of the corresponding processes.
- Facilitate a work environment that supports a Safe and Healthy Culture.
Comply with Safety Laws and Regulations and use of Safety Equipment.
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of experience in production or cleanroom environment Ability to be trained on cleanroom protocols with a demonstrated understanding of the importance of contamination control and a willingness to follow strict procedures. Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping. Strong attention to detail, critical for maintaining the required cleanliness and contamination control standards. Excellent organizational skills.
