This role is critical to ensuring high-quality folding of printed materials, supporting various packaging and finishing stages. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to quality and safety standards. 2nd shift – 2:45pm to 10:45pm.
Pay rate:
$16/hr. Temp to perm. Affordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services Key Responsibilities Determine the appropriate folding method for each job and gather all required documentation. Set up folding equipment, including feeders, rollers, folding gates, slitters, and scorers. Source and prepare printed materials for folding. Monitor quality and size of folded leaflets throughout production. Box finished products for the next application or shipping stage. Follow all SOPs, GMPs, company policies, and safety standards. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Work Experience Preferred Experience Background in printing production, packaging (pharmaceutical or food), or similar environments. Experience with gluing systems, glue detection systems, sensors, scanners, or vision systems. Proficient computer skills for accessing and understanding job specifications. Competencies Strong counting, measuring, and attention to detail. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of following written, oral, and verbal instructions. Comfortable interacting with managers, team members, and internal customers. Ability to read and interpret technical procedures. Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance. Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to see, hear, count, and differentiate colors and positioning. Requires fine motor skills and the ability to perform repetitive upper-body motions.
