Immediate openings for Overwrap Associates/Machine Operators in Durham, NC. 12 hour rotating night shift 7:15pm – 7:15am (2-2-3 schedule) $16.13/hour The Overwrap Associate/Machine Operator is responsible for operating overwrap machinery to wrap products efficiently and ensure they are ready for distribution. This includes working closely with production teams, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The role requires attention to detail, an understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation :
Operate overwrap machines to wrap products in protective plastic film. Monitor the machines to ensure they are functioning properly and adjust settings as needed.
Quality Control :
Inspect wrapped products to ensure that the overwrap is applied properly and securely, with no damage to the product or wrapping material. Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Material Handling :
Load and unload raw materials (e.g., overwrap film) into machines. Ensure materials are stocked and readily available for production.
Troubleshooting :
Identify and troubleshoot basic issues with machinery. Report more complex problems to maintenance personnel or supervisors.
Packaging :
Package finished wrapped products in preparation for shipping or storage. Ensure that products are properly labeled and stored according to company procedures.
Safety Compliance :

Requirements of Overwrap Associates/Machine Operators Experience :
