Slitter Machine Operator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27629 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating slitting machines to cut materials into specified widths and lengths, ensuring precision and quality throughout the production process. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Rotating 12 hrs- (7pm-7am) or (7am-7pm). 2-2-3 schedule- work 3 days one week and 4 days on another. Will work weekends every other week. 18.00 hourly (BOE) Location of job is Morrisville,NC. Must be willing to commute.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate slitter machinery to meet production, quality, and waste standards Keep accurate and up-to-date production reports Identify and address equipment malfunctions Handle raw materials and prepare them for processing Label, document, and manage process waste and recyclables Load and unload paper rolls Ensure production quantities meet customer needs Follow safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of machine operator experience (slitter experience is a plus) Able to stand for 11.5+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable interpreting measurements and reading specs Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends every other week Strong attendance and punctuality record Able to follow plant policies and procedures
