Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator for our night shift (3pm-11:30 pm) to apply protective coatings to printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and an understanding of machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare PCBs for coating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting. Apply conformal coatings (acrylic, silicone, urethane, etc.) using manual or automated equipment (spray booth, brushing, or dipping). Operate UV cure ovens and drying equipment per specified process parameters. Inspect coated boards for quality assurance and ensure coating coverage meets IPC standards. Rework and touch-up coatings as needed to address defects or ensure full protection. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE during chemical handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Communicate any issues or irregularities to supervisors or quality control staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in machine operation or electronic assembly preferred. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and
J-STD-001
standards is a plus. Ability to work under a microscope and handle small components. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Comfortable working with chemicals and in a cleanroom environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Strong computer skills. Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as required.
