Anodizing Line Racker (Level 1) –
SECOND SHIFT Hours:
Monday through Thursday = 36 hours & 4-hour shift differential 3:00 PM to 12:30
AM Hourly Rate:
$17.00-$18.50/hr Report to: Chemical Engineer, SnF General Manager, 2nd
Shift Team Lead Job Description:
The Anodizing Racker’s responsibilities include but not limited to following established routines for the anodizing process to efficiently perform their work in accordance with established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies. Responsibilities will also include first line quality inspection and control, check production schedule and assist with racking and un-racking parts. Operate equipment in a safe and effective manner including checking the load for safe and proper racking. This position requires standing for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment. Use of safety equipment when necessary (goggles, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, etc.). Also responsible for cleaning parts before sand blasting, assisting in tank maintenance, organizing/packing parts after anodizing, and ability to calculation load area from total number of parts racked. Other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with chemical plating preferred Previous overhead crane experience is an asset Manufacturing/Racking/Metal Finishing experience Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read blueprints
- Mathematical skills to include square feet calculations based on dimensional part drawings
- Good Management and Communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to continuously learn and be open to feedback to improve individual performance
- Availability to work overtime as needed
- Other duties assigned as needed.
