A machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial machinery in a production setting, ensuring the machine produces high-quality products consistently while adhering to safety guidelines and quality control standards; tasks include loading materials, adjusting machine settings, monitoring production output, and identifying and reporting any malfunctions. SUMMARY:

A machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial machinery in a production setting, ensuring the machine produces high-quality products consistently while adhering to safety guidelines and quality control standards; tasks include loading materials, adjusting machine settings, monitoring production output, and identifying and reporting any malfunctions. This is an onsite position in our Hooksett, NH location. The role reports directly to our Plant Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up, operate, and adjust machinery according to specifications and operation procedures in a manufacturing environment. Use gauges and other measurement devices to ensure accurate output of products. Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure product integrity. Work with hand tools efficiently to complete tasks. Read routing sheets to understand and execute production requirements. Maintain accurate production reports and records. Learn and work within different stations, with the ability to be cross trained on different machines. Perform Shipping and Receiving functions and other duties as needed based on production demand.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Adherent to safety standards to create a secure working environment. Possess basic math skills of addition and subtraction. Demonstrate a consistent attendance record. Have reliable transportation to the workplace. Ability to pass a post-offer company-paid physical/drug screen and background check. Team oriented, flexible, and committed to delivering top quality products for important end user applications.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal & written)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
