Laser Set-Up Operator Position Available In Rockingham, New Hampshire

Laser Set-Up Operator KEN-MAR Salem, NH 03079 We are seeking an experienced CNC laser operator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. Duties

• Set up and operate CNC Fiber Laser. Experience adjusting Focus, Speed, Kerf, Power, Gas parameters, etc to generate tech tables and optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and machine settings
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process
• Collaborate with management to resolve problems
• Perform material handling functions, load materials
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to check dimensions
• Follow production schedule
• Support engineering with prototype parts
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and adjustments. Monitor consumables.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Minimize and report safety hazards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Contribute to and support continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications
• Proven experience operating laser equipment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints/drawing
• Math skills
• Good communication skills
• Collaborative team-player
• High School/GED
• Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication Physical Demands
• Ability to lift/move 35 lbs
• Performing the duties of this job requires regularly standing and lifting
