Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and adjust slitter machines according to job specifications
Inspect and measure film rolls to ensure quality standards are met
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Load and unload film rolls using hoists, forklifts, or other equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
Maintain accurate production records, including waste tracking and output reports
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure productpliance
Requirements:
Previous experience operating slitter machines, preferably in the blown film or flexible packaging industry
Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and machine settings
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Forklift certification (preferred)
Basicputer skills for data entry and reporting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail andmitment to quality
Work Environment:
Standing for extended periods and lifting materials up to 50 lbs
Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial chemicals in a manufacturing setting
