A Operator / Machine Operator Position Available In Gloucester, New Jersey

A Operator / Machine Operator Savita Naturals, Ltd Swedesboro, NJ 08085 We are a provider of specialty seed oil extraction and related services with an emphasis on unique solutions, quality service, and quick response. We are seeking 1st shift operators. The hours are 6:00am-2:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm. This position is responsible for setting up, running, adjusting, cleaning, and monitoring production machines. All safety protocols are expected to be followed while keeping the equipment running and in condition. Additionally, you are expected to work with other employees to ensure the best quality product is produced as efficiently as possible.

What you will do:

• Set up the machine to run and keep machines in good working order
• Follow all safety protocols and perform machine changeovers
• Be able to work in a hot dirty environment that is very physical
• Help other operators as required
• Work with packers and QC to ensure quality product
• Physically move product between machines using a forklift/shovel
• Record & turn in production information during shift
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift experience
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Must have mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be prompt and have good attendance
• Individual who is reliable
• Ability to work independently and as a member of the team
• Flexibility to work in a changing environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment What we offer:
