Position Details:
$18-$21/hr. (depending on experience level) 40-45hrs/week 6:00AM-3:00PM Mon-Thu & 6:00AM-12:00PM Fri (If working OT, it could extend to 3:00PM on Fri or 6:00AM-12:00PM Sat) Current openings in: 1. EDM Sinker Machine Should have at least 2-3 years of experience and be competent with EDM processes, blueprint reading, machining principles and be able to troubleshoot and make precise measurements. 2. Double Roll Operator Should have previous experience with heavy equipment, ability to read blueprints and an understanding of machine functions and principles. 3. CNC Swiss Lathe & CNC Lathe Operator Should have prior experience in metalworking and/or manufacturing, be competent with blueprint reading, the use of measuring tools, and machining principles.
Responsibilities include:
Set up of machines Programming (EDM & CNC) Finish tight tolerance machining Requirements to be successful in these roles: High School Diploma or higher Know how to read blueprints Good math skills – basic understanding of Trigonometry is a plus Competent and efficient use of machinist tools like micrometers, dial indicators, microscopes, visual comparators, etc. Detail-oriented with ability to inspect work Good vision for reading small print, detecting surface flaws, etc. Good hand dexterity Must be a confident, reliable worker who is a good listener, works well with others and is willing to learn Note – candidates will be loaned tools at first but must purchase certain tools for personal everyday use; the company does have a payroll deduction plan for full-time employees to take advantage of #IND456
