Machine Operator Position Available In Dutchess, New York

Machine Operator Rathjen’s Landscaping 6102 Route 82, Stanfordville, NY 12581 Rathjen’s Landscaping is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator to work with our rapid growing landscape business. The heavy equipment operator’s duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials and coordinating with coworkers to ensure that the projects are completed accurately. You will be required to conduct your duties in a safe, efficient manner always. To ensure success as a heavy equipment operator, you should monitor workflow, suggesting alterations to enhance productivity, as needed. Ideal candidate should be reliable, motivated and dedicated.

Position Responsibilities:

The position of Machine Operator includes but is not limited to the following tasks: Operating heavy machinery, moving machines between job sites. Prepping locations for hardscape and drainage. Advising the manager of requisite upgrades, repairs, and replacements. Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift. Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency. Ability to identify, adapt to, and resolve complex issues.

Position Requirements:

All types of common heavy equipment (excavator, backhoe, bulldozer, loader, skid steer, etc.) CDL Class A preferred Experience with hardscape and landscape a plus Salary based on verifiable experience. Range starting at $26 / hr.
