Short Description Summary of the Position Work is performedonsite in Carthage, TN. This is an hourly entry level productionmanufacturing position and relocation is not available. Workenvironment is not temperature controlled.

Position Hours:

2ndshift

• 4:30pm
• 3:00am Monday
• Thursday.

Overtime varies forFriday and Saturday and may be mandatory. This position requiresthe operator to accurately set up, program, and operate machineswhile producing products according to blueprints and work orderspecifications. This position also requires the operator toaccurately measure of product using various tools and methods. JobResponsibilities Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• 95%Operate the End Former, Small Bender, Large Bender, and Hole PunchSet up and program machine with specifications of productinformation Accurate reading of all measurements Routine service ofmachines Produce quality product while maintaining customer, andproduction standards Ensure correct tools are used to operatemachine Inspect all work to ensure it meets specifications Performany other job responsibilities directed by management as businessdictates Safety Training, Team Meetings & Lean concepts•5%Participates in safety and skill training, and demonstrates a highregard for safety at all times Attends team meetings Utilizes leantools: 6s, visual factory concepts in maintaining order,cleanliness and safe work environment Maintain a safe work area byworking safely, following safety guidelines, and wearing requiredpersonal protective equipment Job Requirements Education and/orExperience High school diploma or general education degree (GED),preferred Core Competencies required Able to read a measuring tape,micrometers, and calipers Able to read and interrupt blueprints(green sheets) Able to accurately identify the correct toolingneeded, determine cut length, and program the bender withmeasurements to run the part Able to identify sizes and numbersMaintains a Customer Focus Takes Ownership Is a Team PlayerAchieves Quality Results Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, andQualities Required Able to read and interpret documents such assafety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions,and procedure manuals.

Able to read measuring scales, tape measure,micrometers and calipers. Able to apply basic math conceptsincluding angels. Able to solve practical problems and deal with avariety of concrete variables in situations where only limitedstandardization exists.
