Responsibilities Wire Operator must be aware of and comply with all procedures and work instructions pertaining to this position. The essential functions of this position are: Ability to have a basic understanding of the operation and capabilities of machines in the department. Determining proper tooling is needed based on the job order being manufactured. Test and measure the product using calibrated measuring devices. Performing in-process inspections using necessary tooling. Complete Work Orders according to the production schedule. Complete lot cards and any other required documents provided in the Job Packet. Complete any additional pertinent quality records. Reporting any issues or damages with the machinery/tooling to the Wire Department Supervisor. Safely perform all duties while complying with all safety rules and regulations. Maintain a safe and clean work area. General housekeeping may be required as necessary.
