Position Summary The entry-level position of Assembly Worker read blueprints to manufacture a variety of mirrors and visors which are used on various vehicles including buses, semi-trucks, box trucks, construction and military vehicles . This position requires joining the union after 30 days of employment. All new hires must provide the required union documents on day of hire.

These documents include:

Signed Social Security Card, Certified Copy of Birth Certificate (translated into English), Proof of Health Insurance Coverage if waiving union insurance benefits, signed union membership card (provided at onboarding). Primary Responsibilities Follow verbal instructions in the assembly of mirror components, arms, and harnesses for fleet vehicles and trucks. Communicate to team lead or supervisor when components are damaged or unusable. Be flexible enough to work independently or as part of a team. Effectively reference drawings provided by the engineering department and follow assembly instructions based on samples. Use production Quality checklists as part of our tracking process. Use software (Epicor) to log jobs and record labor hours and product completions. Required Skills and Abilities High School diploma or equivalent Ability to speak and understand English Punctual Reliable (must show up for work per schedule) Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Punctual Reliable • Physical Requirements ​​☒ Prolonged periods of standing or walking. ☒ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. ☒ Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility. ☒Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas. ☒ Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat in order to unload freight. ☒ Must be able to occasionally withstand high and low temperatures if applicable.
