Entry Level Manufacturing Positions-Union Paper Mill Fedrigoni Special Papers North America Inc. 1 Oconnor Dr, Waterford, NY 12188 Job description Fedrigoni Special Papers North America Inc. is actively seeking career-minded and motivated members for our Entry Level Manufacturing Service Crew destined to move into Union Operator positions. These positions may be assigned to work in our Waterford Machine Room, where paper is produced from pulp. Additionally, roles may be located in our Finishing Department in Waterford or the Cohoes Specialty Converting Center, where the paper is expertly cut and finished. Finally, our Albany Warehouse is where material handlers meticulously pack and prepare the product for shipment to our customers. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work shifts on a rotating basis which may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift differential will be paid for hours worked on second and third shift. Double time will be paid for hours worked on Sundays. Anything over your scheduled shift will be paid at time and half. The Starting Service Crew probationary rate is $23.77/hour for the first 90 days. With satisfactory completion of the 90-day probation period, compensation rates will increase to the job rate of pay, ranging from $24.37 to $34.24/hour. Yearly increases as outline in the Union Labor Agreement.

Job Requirements:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred) Understand how to work safely Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis (includes days, evenings, nights, and weekends) Shift Differential for 2nd & 3rd shift! Ability to pass a short Bennett Mechanical test. Other duties as assigned
