DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE

Compression Operator

REPORTS TO

Manufacturing Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To operate compression machines and perform in-process verifications to assure tablet quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate tablet press machines and troubleshoot operation
• Cross train as backup for Pharmacy and Blending
• Monitor tablet quality such as hardness, thickness, weight, friability
• Clean and maintain equipment and production rooms
• Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs
• Document all activities in Master Production Records
• Communicate any deviations to Supervisor
• Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in compression operations preferred
• Ability to perform basic math, read, write.
• Must work as part of a team.
