Roles and Responsibilities:
The Encapsulation Operator Level I is responsible for operation of the Encapsulation equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance to ensure the production of quality products. Level I Learn to clean, set up, break down and operate Capsule Machines, Polishers, Cyclones, use of scales and micrometers. Make sure all equipment to be cleaned has lockout tag out according to the Safety SOP. Perform “A” and “B” cleaning of the Capsule Machines, Polishers, Cyclones, and rooms. “A” cleaning is performed within an eight to sixteen hour time frame depending on the product characteristics prior to cleaning or as required by SOP, “B” cleaning takes one to six hour time frame and performed after each batch of the same product or non-allergen materials. Perform and verify cleaning of the Capsule machines, Polishers, Cyclones and Room. Records entry of the start and end of the cleaning performed in the logbooks. Sets Up the Capsule Machine according to the specified tooling required on the Master Manufacturing Record. Verify the room release status before starting the batch for operation.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, bending, climbing, lifting, pushing and walking short distances for most of the day. Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs.
Qualifications :
A minimum of a HS/ GED is required for Encapsulation Operators Level I 0•1 year experience in Manufacturing environment is required•Level I Required to read, write and communicate in English. Flexible to work extended hours and weekends when required. Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work priorities. High energy level and organizational skills. Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP.
