$20 – $25 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, drills) to perform machining operations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machine setups, procedures, and material requirements. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as necessary. Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure adherence to specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Clean and maintain work area, machines, and tools. Identify and report any production or quality issues to supervisors. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
