Manufacturing Operator
II – DPI
Responsibilities/Accountabilities c
GMP/Documentation:
Perform all functionsaccording to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) andcompany Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Accurately and legiblydocument in Manufacturing Batch Record and Logbook. Determine whento stop a line related to a safety or quality. Raw Materials andEquipment Checklist Successfully Completed Obtain and weigh inproducts for all shifts. Moves raw materials and product to/fromvault, cage, process, or storage areas. Inspects machine parts forunusual wear and proper lubrication. Operates equipment required inthe manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Performs/reviewsquality checks on weight, thickness, hardness, and friability ofProduct at various stages of the process according to manufacturinginstructions and SOPs. Submits product samples to qualitylaboratories as required. Maintains product batch, room activity,and equipment records. Assist in running validation batches.
Monitors the production process, makes periodic checks, and adjustsequipment or work practices to maximize production efficiency,yields, quality, and safety. Accurately reports production andensures reports are completed as required. Performs operator-levelmachine adjustments and lubrication. Assists technicians with minormachine repairs and set-up. Troubleshoots problems with equipmentand processing to assist other technicians to minimize disruptionsto production. Will immediately stop manufacturing and notify LineLeader or Supervisor of any safety or quality concerns. Performline cleaning. Segregate waste product and materials. Return unusedmaterial/product. Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles basic lineequipment according to SOPs. Ensures proper inspections areconducted prior to reassembly. Participate in safety relatedprograms and or safety teams as needed. Enforce and follow safetyregulations and ensure working area is clean. Adhere to companySafety, Health, and Environmental policies. Requirements HighSchool Diploma/GED 6 months Manufacturing Operator experience in anautomated work environment preferred. Knowledge of current GoodManufacturing Practices (cGMP), Manufacturing Area StandardOperating Procedures and Food and Drug Administration (FDA)regulations Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, bothwritten and verbally in English Comply with safety and qualityregulatory standards. Ensure products are Manufacture in accordancewith company standards.
