POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and operating the packaging line equipment. They are responsible for quality-checking the machinery to ensure everything works as it should and to report any significant mechanical issues to the Mechanics Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform and/or confirm machine set up and readiness. Continually monitor machine performance. Solve machine issues as they are detected. Perform routine adjustments. Operate machines for work coverage Work with the Mechanics Department as needed to correct machine issues. Track equipment performance for identification of repeat issues. Liaise between packaging operators and mechanics. Adhere to all cGMP requirements and document all work.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED Ability to work independently Prior packaging line operations experience Mechanical experience a plus
