Extrusion Press Operator Park Personnel Services Inc Glens Falls, NY 12801 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products. This role requires a keen attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an Extrusion Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Operate extrusion machinery, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. Set up and monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain specifications. Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product accuracy. Assemble components and fabricate parts as required for production. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and operating saws Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve processes. Maintain accurate records of production data and quality inspections. Requirements HS Diploma/GED Proven experience as an Extrusion Operator or in a similar manufacturing role. Strong mechanical knowledge Proficient in using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers for quality inspection tasks Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
