This position does require the ability to regularly rotate weekly between daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts with a 10% shift differential for non-daylight shifts.

Responsibilities:

Work on the plating shop floor in order to learn required job tasksRegularly attend apprenticeship classes held on siteManage the activities of the plating parts, including setup and maintenance of the lines, plating and inspection of the parts, and the preparation of parts for shipping.

Strive to keep setup and maintenance time to a minimumMaintain job tracking systemEnsure that chemical inventories are adequately maintained at all times and that orders are properly filedFollow all safety and quality plansStudy the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectivelyRotate, on a weekly basis, from daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts

QualificationsQualifications:

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalentTechnical, mechanical and math abilityAttention to detail and ability to prioritizeAble to work as part of a teamAble to work daylight, afternoon, and midnight rotating shiftsAble to lift 40 lbs., and stand/walk for 8 hours.
