Job Description
Batcher / Machine Operator Mompops Kennett Square, PA 19348 Mompops manufactures a great tasting Top 9 allergen free fruit ice-pop.
Essential Functions:
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met Ensure safe and proper storage of raw ingredients. Perform calibrations on batching equipment. Safely transport raw ingredients between locations on site. Follow recipes accurately and ensure each batch meets specifications. Weigh and measure ingredients and combine in batch tanks. Capable of reading, writing, and performing fundamental math. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to work alongside others. Follow all GMP’s, health and safety procedures, regulations, and Mompop policies. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Maintain a clean and organized work area The Success Patterns for this position are: Detail oriented Basic math skills Ability to work well independently and as a team Experience with GMP’s; Knowledge of quality and food safety practices Be able to work in a face paced environment Basic understanding of blending procedures to include equipment operation Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Reliable and dependable Successful Candidates will have the following

JOB CONDITIONS
Working Conditions:
Food manufacturing environment. Safety sensitive position due to regular interaction with heavy machinery.
Must be able to:
perform moderate to heavy physical labor (lift 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally). Daily walking, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching. In and out of freezer (-10F) throughout day Follow Food Safety GMP guidelines set forth by the facility.
