Job Description
Machine Operator 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars Erie, PA We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team on 2nd Shift at our manufacturing facility in North East, PA . This position pays a competitive starting base pay, plus incentive (piecework) . Excellent Benefits Package! Monday -Thursday – 10-hour shift.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to set up, adjust and operate production equipment. This includes press brake and shear machines. Be proficient in the operation of the machine while maintaining production requirements and quality. Accurately measure parts using a variety of equipment including squares, protractors, micrometers, and a tape measure. Restock materials. Perform routine maintenance on the machine. Maintain a safe and orderly work area. Heavy Lifting as required. Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be able to read blueprints. Basic Shop Math Mechanical Aptitude required. Ability to use handheld measurement instruments. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Experience working with industrial machines.
Education:
High School or Equivalent Degree or certificate from a vocational school (preferred)
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am Initial training will occur on 1st Shift.
