Available Shifts:
2nd Shift M-F 3p-11:30p
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Run multiple alkalization and grinding systems preparing and loading chemical mixtures required for the process. Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor. Monitor process checking product at prescribed times to ensure quality and operational standards are met. Once process complete pump into designated storage tanks. Perform regularly scheduled cleaning to ensure proper flow of product. Ensure detailed documentation maintained during the process to trace all chemicals used, quantity, run time. Report any defective materials. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; Report any non-conformities Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.) Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others
Physical Requirements:
Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach Able to observe and detect issues Occasionally ascend/descend stairs Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment – daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)

Operate with a focus on safety and quality, while maintaining a sanitary work environment Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout requirements for hazardous energy sources Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards Adhere to
FDA HACCP
