Job Description:

Machine Operator Bakery Machine Operator Accountable foroperating bakery-pastry machinery and its associated downstreamequipment. The Bakery Machine Operator will monitor and control thecontinuous flow of products through the production process, frommixing ingredients to oven baking to product packaging. The MachineOperator will adjust control panel settings as needed.

Responsibilities:

Operate assigned machinery in a safe andefficient manner. Equipment may include Icing, Packing, Oven, Mixer& Laminator equipment. Maintains and adjusts freezer-retardtemperature and sets a timer to the required setting. Monitors theprocess to ensure continuous bakery product process flow throughconveyor systems. Will operate various PLC panels to control theproper flow of product. Troubleshoots process and makes speedadjustments. Document weight, product yield, downtime, andadditional metrics. Collaborates with the in-line Crew Leader orother operators to ensure continuous product flow. Adjusts Ensuringproduct standards, specifications, and customer requirements aremet.

Food Safety Responsibilities:

Follow all GMPs, Food Defense,and quality policies. Ensures all GMP and all food hygiene andsafety standards comply.

Qualifications:

Have received a HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent. Flexible on work schedule includingstart times and weekend work. Exceptional mathematical skills.

Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist thesurrounding team and fully understand the processes. Patience isnecessary to maintain and facilitate a series of continuous events.

Must be able to problem solve, learn on the fly, process andtechnical learning. Must be able to work in a team environment aswell as work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferredexperience in a food manufacturing setting. Knowledge of bakingprocesses, equipment, and terminology is desired

Physical Demands:

Manually lift, pour, and guide large amounts of ingredients. Mustfrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally liftand/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Reach above shoulderheight. Ability to bend, twist, stand, arrange, climbstairs/ladders, push/pull, and walk for the length of the shift.2nd shift: 12pm-10pm or 2pm-12:00am $12.00-13.00/hr Temporary toPermanent There is a Referral bonus of $50 for anyone currently isworking that refers a candidate and that employee then works thefull shift for a week.
