Job Description
Machine Operator 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 185 Devereux Dr, Latrobe, PA 15650 Work Environment is non-climate controlled and labor position is of a physical nature.
Safety:
Requires personal protective equipment to be worn Safety glasses hearing protection head protection steel toed work boots and other protective equipment as required
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older lumber, manufacturing, or farming experience is helpful Must be dependable and team-oriented Ability to use a tape measure accurately Move 50 lbs or more Must have a strong, positive, work and attendance history
Responsibilities:
Stacking kiln dried hardwood products in stackdown stands using leverage Straightens lumber on conveyor to align lumber for grading, trimming, sorting, or for transfer to other machine centers Cleans work area using broom and shovel Learns to operate various machinery Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled on assigned equipment Some climbing and crawling may be involved associated with housekeeping
