General Shop Laborer (1st & 2nd Shift Openings) Precision Cut Industries Hanover, PA 17331 Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and hardworking laborers to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various tasks that support production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in our assembly line processes. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Operate a wide variety of power tools and hand tools for various assembly tasks. Utilize measuring equipment to ensure that the product has met all specifications, while meeting customer needs and expectations with quality. Assemble components and products according to specifications on the assembly line. Fabricate parts as needed to meet production demands. Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse or factory setting. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues. Skills Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively. Ability to accurately use measuring equipent (tape measure, calipers, etc.). Experience in assembly line operations is preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Ability to fabricate components as required by production needs. Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility is advantageous. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
