Laser Operator (1st & 3rd Shift Openings) Precision Cut Industries Hanover, PA 17331 Job Overview We are seeking skilled Laser Operators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sheet metal laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, as well as, the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Responsibilities Operate sheet metal laser cutting machines efficiently and safely, ensuring high-quality output. Conduct quality inspections of finished products using tools such as micrometers and calipers. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for production. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and tooling effectively for setup and adjustments during the cutting process. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in operating sheet metal laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation. Familiarity with quality inspection processes, and tools, including micrometers, tape measures, & calipers. Experience with CNC machines is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
