The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components from various materials, primarily sheet metal. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints accurately to ensure precise execution of production tasks. Duties Operate laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assemble components as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to the laser cutting process. Use measuring tools such as micrometers to verify dimensions of finished products. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Experience with laser cutting, plasma cutting, or similar machinery is preferred. Familiarity with milling machines, stamping presses, and welding processes is a plus. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
