The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of machine operations, programming, and mechanical principles. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various types of machinery, including milling machines, to produce precision parts. Perform CAM programming to set up and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining processes. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications as needed. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Operate forklifts as necessary for the movement of materials within the facility. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations. Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation accurately. Basic math skills for measurement calculations and quality checks. Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred but not required. Forklift operation certification is a plus.
