Role:
The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This position involves operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and maintaining quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality products. The operator will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with team members to optimize production workflows and adhere to safety protocols. Ultimately, the Machine Operator makes a significant contribution to the overall success of manufacturing operations by ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to work on a flexible schedule – Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in operating specific machinery or equipment. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation. Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and report major issues to supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and health regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
