What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED
1+ years of manufacturing experience
Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to perform statistical process control (SPC) checks to ensure quality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
What You’ll Do as a
Machine Operator:
Set up and operate machines to assemble wire helix with reinforced thread
Read and interpret prints and process instructions
Change mandrels to accommodate different diameter sizes
Monitor and adjust machine speeds, extruder temperatures, and pressures
Check belt and wire tensions; maintain close tolerances
Ensure proper compounds and colors are loaded into hoppers
Operate various machines and rotate as needed
Use digital tools to conduct quality control inspections
Maintain production charts and complete daily reports
Identify and report machine malfunctions or wear
Support Process Technicians during complex setups
Perform trimming and packaging tasks
Carry out additional duties as assigned
