Texturing Production Manager PURPOSE:
To run quilted machines, production first quality products
RESPONSIBILITIES
Run quilting machines to spec and quality standards
Correct quality concerns
Keep work area clean
SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
Ability to understand and follow operator standard work procedures
Ability to run machines efficiently
Ability to troubleshoot and correct machine issues

Standing:
Ability to stand while running and inspecting machines 100% of day Moving Move freely throughout the texturing department 100% of day Push Use a broom and dust pan. 50% of day Lifting Ability to lift 35 pounds rolls. 35% of day Reaching Ability to reach above head to replace/ correct thread. 50% of day Access Ability to use step ladders and stationary ladders 50% of day
Bending:
Ability to pick up objects from the floor. Ability to bend to ground and sometimes sit on knees to cut out laps 50% of day Walking Ability to walk through the plant to get to work station, meeting rooms, break area, and to perform audits. 10% of day
Environment:
Ability to work around polyester, nylon and acetate 100% of day
