What to Expect Working on
Dewees:
This isn’t your typical job site; it’s an adventure. Dewees Island is a remote, ferry-accessible barrier island with no cars, stores, or quick fixes. You’ll work in nature daily, surrounded by wildlife, ocean breezes, and a close-knit team that keeps the island running. But island life comes with its quirks: ferry delays, bugs, heat, rain, and unexpected tasks that make no two days the same. If you’re adaptable, hands-on, and love the idea of working in a truly one-of-a-kind environment, you’ll thrive here.
