Card Operator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Gaffney, SC 29341 Opsource of Gaffney has partnered with a family owned Textile Plant in the Gaffney, SC area. We are currently recruiting for a Carding Operator. Prefer someone with experience, but the company is will to train.
Shift for this position:
3rd (12a-8a) Pay for this position: $13.50 Job duties may include: Setting up machines, selecting attachments, and installing components for specific functions. Starting machines, monitoring their operation, and adjusting controls for optimal performance. Examining finished products for defects, identifying variations, and ensuring compliance with standards. Identifying and resolving machine faults, reporting issues, and ensuring efficient operation. Performing minor repairs and maintenance on machines as needed. Feeding machines with fiber, positioning packages, and handling different types of fiber. Understanding the carding process and how it prepares fibers for spinning. Recording relevant information, including machine settings, production data, and maintenance logs. Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines when operating and maintaining equipment.
